VoiceOver

The board speaks each cell's number and selection state. After focusing a cell, choose Move Up, Down, Left, or Right from VoiceOver Actions—no simulated drag is required. The target, remaining moves, feedback, and results also have text labels. Once a puzzle is complete, its board leaves the accessibility focus order so inactive cells no longer present themselves as buttons.

Larger Text

Core screens use Dynamic Type through the AX3 accessibility size. At larger sizes, headings and result metrics reflow vertically, the seven-day row scrolls horizontally, the result sheet scrolls vertically, and primary action buttons stack.

Differentiate Without Color

Selection, completion, targets, and challenge state combine creases, borders, icons, or words with color. When Differentiate Without Color is enabled, a selected cell gains an additional checkmark.

Reduce Motion

With Reduce Motion enabled, card gathering, merge bounce, drag lift, and star reveals become brief fades or immediate state changes. Rules, feedback, and results remain available.

Appearance and contrast

Chainfold supports Light and Dark appearances and responds to Increase Contrast. Meaningful state is never conveyed by color alone. Before declaring Apple's Sufficient Contrast label, we will still complete a contrast-matrix review across every language, appearance, and common task.

Play with VoiceOver

  1. Turn on VoiceOver in iPhone Settings.
  2. Move focus to a numbered cell on the board.
  3. Open Actions and choose an available direction.
  4. Continue with the updated numbers, remaining moves, and merge feedback until you reach the target.

Feedback

If a flow does not work with your accessibility settings, contact the accessibility contact email, which will be added before release. Please include your iPhone model, system version, language, and the accessibility feature in use when possible.
